This piece was created for the single Adah by Maii Waleed and John Murchison. It reflects a journey beyond illusions, a passage from being perceived as a tool, to reclaiming inner clarity and liberation.

The artwork features the Arabic word for “tool” (أداة), dissolving into celestial particles, symbolizing the moment the false dream shatters and a path of true elevation emerges. Now released, Adah is available to experience in full, merging sound and image in a shared space of awakening.

Commissioned by Gohary, this cover art captures the emotional weight of her song “Aalam Tany” ("Another World"). The piece explores themes of loneliness, vulnerability, and healing, transforming personal struggle into an empowering visual echo of the song’s message: speak your truth, even in the silence.

In our call, I shared how I saw her closed eyes as a symbol of the soul’s dark night, where silence breathes stars. The cosmic cloud she exhales carries the message: the light we search for is already within, waiting to rise through the shadow.
